STEP 3: Review and Sign the Credit Report Request and
Release of Information |
Review and sign this form to authorize Solid
Ground to:
- Request a copy of your credit report and credit score.
Sound Community Bank, our partner, has credit guidelines that you must
meet in order to qualify for an auto loan. Solid Ground will review
your credit report and forward a copy to you. If you are married,
Working Wheels will pull a joint credit report. Your spouse will need to sign
this form too.
- Your credit report is a record of how you have handled your
debts, including credit cards and loans. It shows
whether bills have been paid on time, how much is owed, or if
there are accounts in collections.
- Your credit score is a number that "predicts" how
likely you are to repay a loan according to the terms.
This score is based on information in your credit
report and is usually between 300 and 850. The
higher the number, the more likely a creditor or bank will
approve your loan request.
Note: Solid Ground is not responsible for the information contained in your credit
report, nor is Solid Ground a credit reporting agency. It is your responsibility to
ensure that all information contained in the report is correct. It
is your right to dispute information in the credit report, and you must contact
the credit reporting agency to do so.
- Share information with Working Wheels partner agencies to
determine whether you are eligible and qualified to purchase a car.
There are a number of partner agencies that make
the program work, such as Sound Community Bank and Port Jobs.
Your application information may be shared for the following reasons:
- Your credit history and budget will be shared
with the Sound Community Bank to determine if your qualify
for an auto loan.
- Your application information will be reviewed by the Working
Wheels' Selection Committee.
- Copies of your application materials may be provided to
your case manager, if applicable.
- Information may be released to Port Jobs for evaluation
purposes and program improvements; however, your name and
identifying information will remain confidential.
